- OK, let me clarify my earlier post, and see about one other "feature" I've run
- across in 4.0.
-
- I want to use the Chameleon Mailer from 4.0 without being hooked into the net
- at the time. What happens if I do that is that I have to wait for the sucker
- to time out trying to make a connection when I first bring it up, and
- preparing a message to send causes it to wait, again, to time out to figure
- out it should put it in the out box. I've read the manual, I've looked at the
- configuration stuff, and I don't see an option to change this default
- behavior. Is there a way?
-
- My other question comes from problems with the FTP tool. As in 3.1, FTP'ing to
- sites like nyx.cs.du.edu causes a connection to occur, but no directory
- listing shows up. If I want to move multiple files, and the directory listing
- doesn't show so I can select multiple, I can't seem to do it since it doesn't
- seem to want to accept wildcards. Any way to do this?
-
- Note: I use, and recommend, Chameleon. This is not a dig or a put down, just
- an attempt to figure out how to make a good product better.
-
- Thanks,
- Ewan Grantham
